Spectrum Technologies, Inc. of Aurora, IL introduces a new cellular, solar-powered rain station to provide remote rainfall data at an affordable price.

The 8-inch diameter Rain Collector meets the specifications of the National Weather Service. The collector is freeze-proof and designed for years of accurate, trouble-free service. Includes U-bolts (2) for mounting to a 1.25” pole.

The 4105 Cellular Rain Station is solar powered and can function wherever an LTE-M signal is available. Rain data is transmitted to our cloud software platform, SpecConnect, and also visible on the WatchDog Mobile App.

Setup of the station is quick and easy through the WatchDog Mobile App. Once activated, you’re able to view current rain conditions from anywhere. Add an Alerts Package within SpecConnect to be alerted when rainfall exceeds your desired threshold. Stay connected to your fields with Spectrum.
