LoRa Wireless Stations
WatchDog LoRa Wireless Stations deliver reliable, long-range communication using LoRa technology to keep you connected to field conditions without cellular or WiFi infrastructure.
These compact, durable stations are perfect for tracking rainfall, temperature, and relative humidity from remote or hard-to-reach areas.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT LORA WIRELESS STATIONS
HOW DOES LORA WORK?
LoRa (Long Range) wireless stations transmit data to a centralized LoRa gateway. This gateway collects data from all nearby Wireless Stations and sends it to the SpecConnect cloud using a cellular (outdoor) connection. This makes it possible to deploy multiple stations in the field with only one cellular plan. The indoor gateway connects via wired LAN cable to an existing router.
Use the WatchDog App or login to SpecConnect to view real-time measurements and run custom reports to make informed decisions based on accurate site data.
WHAT CAN YOU MEASURE?
LoRa Wireless Stations are available in multiple configurations to measure:
- Rainfall
- Temperature
- Relative Humidity
Each station is equipped with built-in sensors and is designed for fast, low-maintenance deployment in your field, orchard, or greenhouse.
HOW DO I VIEW THE DATA?
All LoRa stations send their data through a local LoRa gateway to SpecConnect. Once connected, you can view live conditions on the WatchDog Mobile App or access historical reports on your computer or tablet.
SpecConnect also allows you to create alerts, share reports with your team, and make proactive decisions to protect crops, turf, or landscaping.
Ideal For: Orchards, Farms, Research Sites, Greenhouses, and Remote Fields.
