Requirements
Minimum BSEE or similar with 10 years of electronics design experience. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are essential. Desirable analog design experience includes power supply, signal conditioning, filters, ADC and DAC circuits. Desirable digital design experience includes microprocessor interface to logic and memory, asynchronous and synchronous serial communication. Experience with mixed signal design and schematic capture is required. Experience with PCB fabrication specification and layout is valuable. Solid understanding of wireless communication (cellular, Bluetooth, WiFi, zigbee, Sigfox, LoRa, etc.) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Electronics engineer for new and existing product designs
• Design and test analog signal conditioning, microprocessor interface, communication
and control circuits for data acquisition products
• Write design and specification documents, test plans, and progress reports
• Document designs using CAD schematic capture software
• Support PCB designs including layout and routing
• Work with technicians, software developers, and consultant staff as needed
• Provide support to technical support and product training staff
• Manage engineering activities and develop team of young engineers
