Spectrum Offers Solar Panel Option for WatchDog Pups

Spectrum Technologies, Inc., the leading manufacturer of plant measurement technology, has announced that it will now offer a solar panel package to power its line of WatchDog Pups.
The new 5W solar panel package features a sturdy and durable aluminum frame. The solar panel connects to a 6V rechargeable battery. Completely weatherproof for added durability, the solar panel works in all daylight conditions, even on cloudy days.
“Solar power provides a reliable source so that customers have to less maintenance on their deployments,” says Mike Thurow, President & CEO. “The solar panel option for the WatchDog Pups provide our customers the convenience of harvesting the sun.”
Spectrum Technologies WatchDog Pups are a line of wireless sensor nodes that come in three models – Sensor Pups, Station Pups and Repeater Pups. A deployment of multiple Pups can create a network of customized measurement options for optimal plant growth conditions.
