Affordable Plant Disease Station

PRESS RELEASE - for immediate release

Plainfield, IL – Spectrum Technologies, a pioneer of the mini weather station a decade ago, announces their new WatchDog 1000 Series Plant Disease Station. The WatchDog 1000 Series Plant Disease Station is the affordable plant disease and insect management system that lets you monitor plant disease and pest severity indicators. The Plant Disease Station displays and records measurements for temperature, relative humidity, leaf wetness, and rainfall. University-validated disease models can also be added for more accurate disease and pest monitoring through SpecWare Software (sold separately.)

Build the mini weather system you need at a price you can afford. The new WatchDog 1000 Series Micro Stations are available in eight models, providing a wide range of monitoring options. The WatchDog 1000 Series Micro Stations are the cost-effective choice for early pest/disease forecasting, degree-day tracking, soil moisture trends, and monitoring site-specific microclimate data.

All WatchDog 1000 Series Micro Station models record over 10,500 intervals of data (219 days of information at 30 minute reading intervals) in fail-safe, non-volatile memory. The LCD screen displays current sensor readings and battery usage levels.
