Upgraded SpecMaps ProTurf Software Now Available

Plainfield, IL – Spectrum Technologies, Inc., announces recent user upgrades to their SpecMapsTM web mapping utility.

In addition to creating instant visual pictures of soil moisture spatial variability on landscape and golf course turf, users now have the ability to include individual sprinkler head locations and the respective radius of water throw. The measurement summary has been updated to include the lower quartile distribution uniformity (DULQ).

Get maximum value out of your existing portable Field Scout® meters by producing 2-dimensional maps from your landscape or golf course turf data. SpecMaps ProTurf allows you to easily upload geo-referenced data files from any Field Scout meter.

SpecMaps ProTurf includes all the functionality of the original SpecMaps program. Both programs allow you to map data from most geo-referenced meters that measure turf color, soil pH, soil EC (mS/cm), soil compaction, or soil moisture (% volumetric water content).
