Receiving/Return Goods Clerk

 

 

Reporting to the Operations & Customer Satisfaction Manager, this position is responsible for accurate physical receiving of materials/product in order to maintain integrity of inventory control, insures quality control is performed, processes all return goods from receipt to shipping back to customer.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receives all product deliveries
  • Inspects, accepts, and rejects inbound shipments
  • Records and checks quantity of items received
  • Coordinates with quality control to insure every shipment is inspected
  • Properly inputs received material into NetSuite and forwards proper documentation to accounts payable

·       Performs light assembly of received items

  • Processes all return goods in NetSuite
  • Forwards repairs to appropriate technician or vendor
  • Liaison between Spectrum and vendors for repairs
  • Prepare sales orders for returning repairs to customers
  • Prepares accompany sales orders of new items with returning repairs to customers.
  • Creates credit memos to be approved by Operations Manager
  • Pick and prepare shipments to trade shows
  • Work closely with marketing on insuring correct material is included for trade shows
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees & management

Requirements & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (some college is preferred)
  • Flexible and demonstrate willingness to pitch in wherever needed
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to successfully work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, small team environment
  • Strong organization skills & time management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate strong PC skills and familiarity with PC Windows operating systems
  • High-energy self-starter as well as collaborative team player
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet

 

 

Pay and work schedule

  • Full Time, 40 hours a week, flexible hours
