Plainfield, IL – June 2012, Spectrum Technologies, Inc., introduces the Cellular Hay Alert designed to alert commercial hay growers in arid regions when humidity levels reach prime conditions to bale hay. This allows growers to produce a higher quality product.
The WatchDog® Cellular Hay Alert is easy to use and can be placed in the field to monitor humidity levels. When the user selected humidity level is reached, the Cellular Hay Alert will call the hay grower indicating that optimum baling conditions exist.

Two models are available. The WatchDog® Cellular Hay Alert Pro model includes a GSM cellular module and automatically places calls and sends text messages to growers. The WatchDog® Cellular Hay Alert model requires a pay-as-you-go phone.
