Spec 8 Basic works with your data logger or station to collect and organize measurement data for analysis. It's ideal for users who need basic functionality for their WatchDog product, and would not benefit from advanced features like a frost alarm or customized reporting.Spec 8 Basic is a major upgrade to Spec Basic, adding the improved graphing, exportable data file format, and international capabilities previously only available to Pro customers.

Spec 8 Basic software performs data analysis for you and produces the select reports you need so you don't waste valuable time exporting data and performing calculations in spreadsheet programs. The software automatically assigns each WatchDog data logger to its own logger location directory, which is appended every time you download new data.

Spec 8 Basic does not support disease models or the 2000 series weather and mini stations.
